We(Kate,Kasper and Myself) just filmed our final version of the commercials, one sexist, one not. the first one had been done before and went well , although I could of projected more and spoke towards the camera. The second commercial unfortunately was not as good , as it was not planned quite as well, although we managed to make it decent it could of been much better had I remembered all my lines, as i did not truly sell the product quite as well as I did in the first commercial we filmed.

During this lesson We had to look at gender in the media and how in the past it was completely Male focused and dominated, after we looked through several ads that were quite sexist(obviously quite old too) We had to pick an add and create a script for it and turn it into a full commercial about 30 seconds in length. We were grouped into a trio consisting of Kasper, Kate and myself we only had 10 minutes to create an add as we did and it went decently well, Ms.Dionne informed us that we could improve if we talked to the audience as opposed to the actors. We were unaware but we had to create a second commercial, Kasper and I made a rough version of every cologne commercial there is in existence, I pretended to emerge from the water and made over dramatic roaring noises.
HELMER:
It seems most commonly to be the mother's influence, though naturally a bad father's would have the same result. Every lawyer is familiar with the fact. This Krogstad, now, has been persistently poisoning his own children with lies and dissimulation; that is why I say he has lost all moral character. [Holds out his hands to her.] That is why my sweet little Nora must promise me not to plead his cause. Give me your hand on it. Come, come, what is this? Give me your hand. There now, that's settled. I assure you it would be quite impossible for me to work with him; I literally feel physically ill when I am in the company of such people.
this is an obvious climax in a sense and would need to be voiced dramatically, also would need to contain strong gestures to match a strong voice, the facial movements should be stout yet strong and comanding
Character development:
Originally as a character in this play, pre-teletuby suit it didnt have any potency and was a dull and boring play, as i developed the character and noticed the missing piece was the teletuby suit, the skit improved and was only limited by immaturity and not being serious( these things were both displayed by myself, while laughing at the suit itself) until i had actually sat on stage and began to contemplate how to add to the play i had no finalized version in which I would preform that i had mastered. on the stage it became easy and i managed to spontaneously add to the play and manage the awkwardness i had struggled with.
Application of skill:
The personal application in this was only perfected last second, it required me to concentrate and completely clear my mind as i wasn't even ready as I was watching the final scenes before i was set to go on. I believe i effectively used comedic pauses and made it funny, although i could of mastered the art of not laughing at yourself as your thinking to yourself "i am in a teletuby suit"
Group experience:
I was extremely impressed by the group as a whole they improved greatly throughout the whole process from start to finish . originally they were unprofessional and weren't concentrated, but by the final day were completely committed and wanted to see the play do well and all gave it their full and best try. as the end approached however and the day of the actual play progressed , the majority of us were not ready and there must of been a motivational occurrence as on the day every person had near perfected their skit and were well ready.
Performance experience:
I was extremely happy with my experience, and believe I did relatively well in the play and managed to use ms.Dionnes tips for improvement upon myself and for the real performance execute my "line" well and add some comedy to it , it was a hundred percent better than when I originally began to work on this skit .
